Welcome to Sandy Run
We want you to feel at home, even on your first visit.

Whether you’re new to the area and are looking for a church home, or if it’s been a long time since you’ve attended church at all, we hope your first visit to Sandy Run will be refreshing and encouraging!

Below you will find answers to the most frequently asked question.

Please contact us if you need any more information about Sandy Run Baptist Church.

We are looking forward to meeting you in person.

When Are Your Services Held?

Sunday Worship Service is at 10:30 AM held in the Sanctuary and usually lasts a little over one hour. Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM feature a fellowship meal for all ages in the lower level fellowship hall. At 6:30 PM while school age children and youth participate in age-appropriate activities our adults attend a 30 minute Bible Study.

Do you accommodate the handicapped?

Yes! The entrance has easy access to the Sanctuary and there is ample handicap seating throughout. There is also an elevator near the entrance to the Sanctuary that you may use to go down to the lower level where our Fellowship Hall is located.

What is Sunday School?

At Sandy Run we believe that the purpose for Sunday School is to edify and equip the saints through fellowship, discipleship, teaching and service together. (9:30 to 10:30  AM every Sunday morning) Classes for children are age appropriate.

What Should I Wear?

There is no dress code for our members or our guests.  Pastor Jeff Queen and many of our church families dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here to Sandy Run

What Are Your Services Like?

Each worship service typically lasts between 60 and 75 minutes and includes a 30-35 minute exposition of Scripture. While we follow a traditional style, our services are not ultra-formal.  You will find a warm family atmosphere, spirited congregational singing, uplifting Praise Team music, and a practical biblical message from Pastor Jeff Queen.

Will I Have to Stand Up In Front of People?

Though Pastor Queen does welcome our guests at every service, he will not single you out or make you feel uncomfortable.  However, you can expect to be noticed by our church family and warmly welcomed to our worship service.  We want you to feel loved and “at home”.
Not only do we hope you will come again but we also hope you are inspired to share the love of Christ where you live, work and play!

Do I Need to Give in the Offering?

No. We don’t ask you to put anything in the offering plates.  We want our service to be a gift to you.  We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, the truth from God’s Word, and a place where you can grow in God’s grace.  As our guest, please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering.

Do You Provide Child Care During Services?

Yes. We offer safe, clean, and compassionate nursery care during every service for children ages 0-3 so that you, and others, can enjoy the service without distraction.

Your child’s safety is of the utmost importance to us. Every volunteer and staff member completes a background check and training to ensure your child’s safety.

Where Do My School-Age Cildren and Teenagers Go?

We offer age-specific classes during the Sunday School hour (9:30 to 10:30 AM) for children, teens, and adults.

During the 10:30 AM Worship Service children and teenagers join their families in the Sactuary.
